The shelter has been doing very well on our aluminium can recycle project but we can always use more. Bring your cans to the shelter any time.

Penelope - gone but not forgotten

The 2009 calendars are in.

Thank you to all those members of the community that have participated in one of our major fund raising efforts. Proceeds from the calendar are used for our spay and neuter program, H A L T.

Since 2002 the Shelter has provided over $70,000 in assistance to help spay and neuter companion animals in Grant County. Our Shelter exists largely from donations from the Community so we would like to say "Thank You" for your support in this effort.

Calendars are available in at the Shelter for just $5.00. Buy several, they make great gifts.

DOLLY

NEW SHELTER MASCOT
Gran County Humane Society Animal Shelter

Hi, my name is "Dolly" aka "Dolly Download", "Dolly Also", "Dolly did it" and "D2".

This little lady caught the eye of animal control officer Buddy Howard who claims she looks very much like a shelter mascot from many years past. Her laid back temperment makes her a good choice to become the new door greeter at our shelter. She has been busy the past few weeks exploring the shelter and making friends with "Cash", and "Daisy". Come by and say "Hi".
